An Indian global telecommunications service company Airtel has partnered with Celkon under 'Mera Pehla Smartphone' programme to provide a 'Celkon Smart 4G' phone @Rs.1,349 only instead of Rs.3500 market price. The new smart phone comes with a package of Rs. 169 Airtel plan, which will offer unlimited calls and 500 MB data per day for 28 days. Cashback offer is also included in this.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has introduced a new 'Loot Lo' offer for its post paid customers. It provides 60 per cent discount and gives 500 percent extra data and these discounts are applicable for the connections taken during the month of November,2017. There is no discount for plans 99 & 145. The discount is for advance rental optional (12/6/3 months) only. Existing customer can avail this option, if there is no bill pending for the customer, as well as existing customers may migrate to other plans using this offer.

The Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal has launched a new web portal 'Assam Darpan' on Friday. People can find the details of Government schemes and projects on this portal. The platform has been developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology as a part of the 'Digital India' programme. In the first phase, it includes 15 Government Schemes to provide the details in English and Assamese Language.

An Indian diary co-operative Amul has come up with a business approach with an Indian Railways to use its refrigerated parcel vans to transport Amul Butter across India.
