The state owned BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) wants to implement Digital India Idea and save the environment by not wasting the paper and thus reduce cutting of trees. BSNL Landline bill can be produced as an address proof in many situations. Landline physical paper bill is very useful to the customers who are not using the internet services through phone or broadband. You can save up to ₹10 as discount on Bill if you opt for BSNL Go Green program 2018. Registration process is also called Customer Consent Submission.

BSNL Go Green Initiative and Landline Bill Discount Offer

BSNL Go Green Initiative want to stop sending physical paper bills to its customers. You should fill a form and give it at the nearest CSC (Customer Service Center). After successful submission of the form, you will not get hard copy of bills of Landline / Broadband via post every month. You will get

  1. SMS on the registered mobile number with the billed amount
  2. Email with Scanned copy of the Monthly Bill

How to Subscribe to or Register With BSNL Go Green E Bills By SMS

You can send an SMS to 53733 from your registered mobile number. Please note that you are not typing your landline number in the SMS.

You will get confirmation SMS for the same.

To Register your Mobile number and Email With BSNL Go Green Online 

West Zone BSNL customers can avail this Online Registration for Go Green to get Bill SMS on Mobile and Email on your provided email id. Just open East Zone Go Green Page, fill the details and submit.

In some Circles or States, Loyalty Reward Points are given to customers who opted for E-Bill by registering for BSNL Go Green Program. Loyalty points can be redeemed for getting free landline calls. These customers will not get extra ₹10 discount as they are already availing Loyalty Points Scheme.

Opting for BSNL Go Green using BSNL Selfcare Portal

1. Login to BSNL Selfcare Portal.

2. Click on Billing Account Number.

3. Under Update Billing Profile, click on Bill Media Type. Choose your telephone number and submit. Your subscription to Go Green will be done successfully.

Registration Process for BSNL Chennai Customers to Join BSNL Go Green Program

BSNL Chennai customers has to send registration SMS to a  different number 9478053334 in the following format.

BSNL Go Green Register Program works in all States or Circles like Andhra Pradesh AP, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamilnadu, Chennai, Kerala, Telangana, Maharashtra, UP - Uttar Pradesh, Kolkata, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh - MP, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh - HP and other parts of India.

There is no need to add STD code of Landline number. Symbol * STAR is mandatory.

In this way, you can get your Landline or Broadband bill on email ID. You will get BSNL Bill SMS Alert too on your Mobile Number.
